The same institutional identity, a new portal inside.
We audited coplademm.org.mx across 13 disciplines and rebuilt it without touching colors, logos or typography: real URLs for every section, a home page that weighs a fraction of what it did, and zero broken links.

The portal, running right now.

Starting point
COPLADEMM coordinates municipal development planning for Mexicali, Baja California, and publishes plans, statistics, investment and transparency information for citizens and public servants. The content was good; the delivery was not. The site was a single page loading fragments through JavaScript: to Google there was one URL, the Back button took users off the site, and the home page weighed 18.4 MB. Even the institutional typeface failed to load. The challenge was to fix all of it with no additional budget and without moving a single element of the XXV City Council’s identity manual.
The solution
An audit across 13 disciplines
Management, strategy, UX, UI, front-end, back-end, DevOps, content, SEO, analytics and QA, with reproducible evidence for every finding: 305 links checked, 30 fragments inspected and a same-day benchmark against the City Council portal.
Real URLs without changing the stack
Every section moved out from behind #/ into a PHP page with its own URL, title, description, social preview and an H1. Shared template, sitemap, robots.txt and 301 redirects from the old addresses so no link was lost.
Performance, and an identity that is actually applied
Banners 7,833 px wide re-exported to WebP, lazy loading and one-year caching. The Effra typeface shows again, and colors come from the manual’s three official variables instead of stray values.
